My Introduction

A word that best describes me: easygoing.

Interests and goals: I am a competitive dancer and it is a huge part of my life. I am on a team and travel to competitions and I love it! I dance about 20 hours a week and it is my passion. My goals include attending college next fall and my career plans are still to be determined.

What I like about school: I enjoy the challenge. I like the feeling of understanding something after working for it.

What I dislike about school: I feel like sometimes the topics do not interest me. I wish there was a way for students to still learn what is necessary, but have more options for classes and topics that are interesting to them.

Qualities of my favorite teacher: Sense of humor. I also like when a teacher is genuinely interested in their students lives and is willing to help them with any problems in the class. I also like teachers who are easy to talk to and teachers who do not make a student feel bad for asking a question.

Level of interest in history: I love learning about history, but not from a textbook. I would rather watch movies to learn the events of our history. I also love American history more than any other topic.

Although there are many issues in our world today, I am proud of humanity. I believe that people have worked very hard and became very successful, which is an amazing thing. People came to America with nothing and have created a very advanced world, and continue to enhance the world around us. Many people have created themselves from nothing, including some of the most successful people in the country, and people like my parents. People all around the world are so creative and do not settle. When one thing is created, there is always someone else who is already thinking about the next thing. The world never stops and it does not look like it will ever stop. With so many talented people in the world, things become very competitive but I believe it is healthy competition. People are learning from the people around them every day, in addition to their ancestors. Because of all of the amazing technology, people can learn about any topic that they desire, and it is very easy to access. People from all around the world have came together and are sharing knowledge every single day.
