United 93

This movie was amazing. Although it was very sad, it was extremely suspenseful and interesting to watch. Something I thought was different about this movie is that there was no real plot for most of it, it was just people running around and yelling things to each other and calling other places. I thought this was great because it showed what it was actually like at the time, instead of just showing the "interesting" parts. I felt like I was really part of the story and I got very immersed into it.

  1. I agree with Kelsi that the hope comes from the bravery of the passengers in one of the hardest situations I could imagine. Knowing you are going to die, but doing everything you can to save others is a feeling that cannot be properly put into words. American citizens came together to protect others and that gives me hope.

  2. Also, I think Kelsi's point of the movie showing not just the "interesting parts" is a very good point. I have seen movies where actors portray what happened on the plane, but just on the plane. Seeing what was going on with the military on the ground, and the control centers on the ground, made you actually feel like you saw everything that was going on that day and not just on the plane.

  3. I really agree and enjoyed Kelsi's comment when she states "It really demonstrates the patriotism in America and how strong the citizens are." talking about the passengers of flight 93. That couldn't be more true when thinking about the courage and bravery of everyone involved on that flight.

  4. I strongly agree how the film makers did't really exaggerate anything or make it hollywood and only put in the interesting parts. I think this movie did a good representation of how the people on board were in a time of panic and crisis. Also, this movie did a great job in capturing the audience's attention by using the real scenes in what happened and made it look as real as it could.

  5. I myself, like Kelsi did get very immersed in the film especially feeling for the passengers that had to go through with this. Their acting definitely portrayed the passengers very well which made the film very realistic.

  6. I agree with Kelsi that it was very interesting and different that the film had no real plot to it. I also thought it was a great way to show the film and I did too get very immersed in it. Instead of just showing intense interesting parts, they made you feel as if you were there watching what was really happening.
